How was Training?

“Gave me insight into Enterprise Architecture as opposed to IT Architecture. Made me realise we have an Enterprise Architecture already - its about how many better practices we can improve it with. (How mature are we today and where do we want to go) ” - Enterprise Architect, Experian, UK, Mar 2013

Recommend PEAF?

more

“Yes - PEAF provides you with the knowledge and skills to increase the chance of success for your EA efforts, since it has been built on considering the key points of failure and how to mitigate against these risks.” - VP Marketing & Business Development, Elyon Strategies, USA, Jan 2015

The first part of Roadmapping is to form the Enterprise Architecture Project Board and then to determine a framework that will be used to increase your Enterprise Architecture maturity.

In order to do that, you will need to discover and then be briefed on any number of frameworks.

Once a selection is made from that shortlist, you will then need to become more aware of the framework selected, what it contains and how it can help, which will enable you and other Senior Stakeholders to take a coherent and holistic view of the Methods, Artefacts, Culture and Environment used by the EA domain. This is the purpose of PEAF. This will allow you to make informed decisions regarding how that increase might be effected.

You will then be in a good position to perform a high level evaluation of your maturity and produce a detailed plan for the next phase.

Executive Management will then decide to proceed to the next phase, to pause, or even stop the initiative at this point.

If we obtain the mandate and resources to proceed, the next phase is Initiating.
