Architecture and Engineering map on to the fundamental phases of Transformation, and within each phase (depending on the Complexity of the information being worked upon).

Consequently the reality is a (potentially confusing) mixture of Architecture and Engineering which probably goes a long way to explain why there is such confusion and debate about how they are related and where they fit into the Transformation cascade. The truth is, they fit everywhere!
