This is a little joke, but like all jokes, there is usually some grain of truth in it. In this case, there's a whole bag of rice and contains an important message!

Architects are generalists who look at the big picture. Since no one has the bandwidth to know everything about everything, an obvious side effect is that the more things they know about, the less bandwidth they have to drill into the details of those things.
