And so, their meta-models were extended to include information about Strategy - Mission, Vision, Goals, Objectives etc. Some meta-models were designed specifically for that purpose such as BMM - The Business Motivation Model and so were used as a basis for others. Other meta-models ignored BMM and defined their own Entities.


What meta-model does your Enterprise use to define the Enterprise's Strategy?

If you don't, how is it defined so that others can use it and relate other information to it?

If it is not defined, what problems do you think will result?


Again, over time, many meta-model providers (and users) realised that while the Strategy is very important, a Strategy cannot be directly executed and therefore there needs to be some other lower level information to effect the strategy or notion of HOW...
